Leahi, often referred to as Diamond Head, is an iconic feature of O 'ahu's south shore and is named for the crater's resemblance to the brow of the 'ahi, or yellowfin tuna. In the 19th century, British sailors mistook sparkling calcite crystals for diamonds, which gave this landmark its common name: Diamond Head. This style is crafted from our polynosic jacquard, which combines the softness of rayon with the durability and wrinkle-resistance of polyester. Using a jacquard loom, the design is woven directly into the fabric itself with two different thread colors, creating a subtle sheen and textured two-tone effect.
