For a special debut collaboration with Kō Hana Distillers, our Kahala artists drew inspiration from a visit to their heirloom sugarcane fields to develop the Mahai'ula print. This short sleeve style is made from our premium 100% cotton broadcloth—a durable woven fabric that's lightweight in feel. Available in men's and women's sizing and in two colors, Wine and Teal.

Known for their locally crafted rum from single varietal kō (Hawaiian sugarcane), Kō Hana Distillers nurture and grow the last remaining heirloom varietals of native Hawaiian sugarcane brought by the first Polynesians nearly a thousand years ago by canoe. Featured in this print are the reddish and deep purple striped stalks of their Mahai'ula and Manulele sugarcane varietals, which are hand-harvested, pressed to juice and distilled into their exquisite rum.
