Huahine takes its name from an island in French Polynesia, whose gently rolling silhouette is said to resemble a pregnant woman, giving the island its meaning in Tahitian. The word shares roots with the Hawaiian *wahine*, meaning woman. This 1950s heritage print translates that connection into a bold, colorful pareo pattern.
Crafted in our signature cotton broadcloth using a discharge print technique for rich, saturated color and a soft hand. Made in Hawai’i and offered in Black and Navy.
