Pau Hana With Ko Hana
We celebrated our second collaboration with KōHana Rum and the launch of the new Royal Kunia shirt last month at one of our favorite hangouts, the Pint + Jigger craft cocktail bar, in Honolulu. The bartenders whipped up three KōHana crafted cocktails for the night and weʻve got the recipes below thanks to the Kō Hana crew. KŌHANA CLASSIC DAIQUIRI
Ingredients
2 oz Kō Hana KEA
1 oz fresh lime juice
½ oz simple syrup
Preparation
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add KEA, lime juice, and simple syrup. Shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is very cold, then double strain into a pre-chilled coupe glass. Garnish with lime wedge.
KOHO OLD FASHIONED
Ingredients
2 oz Kō Hana KOHO
Barspoon Simple Syrup
Dash Angostura Bitters
2 Dash Orange Bitters
Preparation
Stir all ingredients with ice. Prepare a rocks glass with a large ice sphere. Strain and pour into rocks glass. Express orange peel over drink and around the rim and enjoy!
KOKOLEKA ESPRESSO MARTINI
Ingredients
2 oz Kō Hana KOKOLEKA
1 oz espresso (cooled)
1 bar spoonful of simple syrup
Garnish: 3 coffee beans and 7 grains of Hawaiian sea salt
Preparation
Add rum, espresso, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker. Shake all of the ingredients vigorously with ice for at least 20 seconds. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with 3 coffee beans and 7 grains of Hawaiian sea salt.
