Creative Guardians

For more than 25 years, Lucky Olelo has refined a tattoo style that’s unmistakably his — a contemporary Asian approach shaped by cultural roots, global travels, and years of disciplined practice as part of the Soul Signature Tattoo collective.

This collaboration introduces his guardian foo dogs and blooming peonies to our made-in-Hawai‘i classic: the cotton broadcloth aloha shirt, offered in men’s, women’s, and kids’ styles for the entire ‘ohana.

The return of Lucky! Introducing our third collaboration with Lucky Olelo. This design seamlessly blends his bold artistic vision with our aloha wear craftsmanship.

Featuring sprawling illustrations of Foo Dogs and Peonies, this print honors two powerful symbols in Chinese culture. Foo Dogs, or guardian lions, are divine protectors believed to drive away evil spirits. Always seen in pairs, one male and one female, they represent balance and harmony. Peonies, known for their delicate beauty, symbolize prosperity and good fortune.

Crafted from breathable cotton broadcloth and made in Hawaiʻi. Available in Black and Plum for men, women, and kids so the whole family can match. Perfect for get-togethers with the ʻohana or family picture day!

About the Print

This print brings together two powerful motifs: guardian foo dogs, recognized as protectors against negative forces, and peonies, long associated with beauty, wealth, and celebration throughout Asian cultures. Lucky’s interpretation pairs ferocity with refinement, creating a visual rhythm that feels both grounded in tradition and boldly modern.
